Hello, I'm Nubian...

My need for starting this company began at a very early age.

When I was born, my parents didn’t know that I had a severe dairy allergy. Doctors labeled me as a “failure to thrive baby.” After countless visits to the doctor’s office, we still didn’t know “what was wrong with me.”

By the age of 10, I had developed an extreme Pepto Bismol addiction because it was the only thing that would help reduce the pain I was constantly feeling.

Allergen Statement

The Pink Bakery, Inc. manufactures premium top allergen-free baking mixes and frostings. Everything is free from: Celery, Coconut, Eggs, Fin-Fish, Lupines, Milk, Mustard, Nuts (all), Peanuts, Sesame, Shellfish, Soy, Sulphites and Wheat. We do use European Non-GMO maize (corn) in every premium baking mix, so if you have a corn allergy, please do not purchase our baking mixes.

We only use certified Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free and Vegan ingredients. Our dedicated facility is certified gluten-free and certified free from the top 8 allergens. 

We will not be held liable for any and all acts, illnesses or harm that may be directly or indirectly caused by cross-contamination or alteration of any of our products once they leave our facility

We believe wholeheartedly in transparency when it comes to ingredients. We feel it is only right to let you make an educated decision as what goes into your body.

Every ingredient and sub-ingredient is listed in the description section for each premium baking mix and frosting.

Our manufacturing facility is completely dedicated from the top allergens listed above so there is no worry of cross contamination.

Our premium, safe, easy and delicious mixes work EVERYTIME (as long as you follow the directions) :-).

You do not need an egg or egg replacer to make any of our premium baking mixes or frostings. Our mixes and frostings are truly free of the top allergens and are naturally vegan.

Below you will see what equipment is needed to prepare our premium baking mixes and frostings, how many desserts each mix yields and the time it takes to prepare them below:

Premium Cake Mixes

Equipment Needed:

Oven, Spoon, Bowl, Baking Pans, Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer

Yields:

Each box comes with 2 pouches of mix. Each pouch makes 12 cupcakes or 1 layer cake. So the 2 pouches combined, makes 24 cupcakes or a full 2 layer cake.

Prep Time:

10 minutes (includes pouring mixes into cake pans – for cupcakes prep time increases to 20 minutes)

  • Mama’s Favorite® Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cake Mix– add neutral tasting oil and water.
  • The Lauren White Cake Mix– add neutral tasting oil, water, apple cider vinegar (vanilla bean is highly suggested but not required).

Premium Cookie Mix

Equipment Needed:

Oven, Spoon, Bowl, Baking Pans, Rolling Pin, Cookie Cutter, Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer

Yields:

Makes 30 to 60 cookies (amount determined by the size of your cookie cutter) per mix.

Prep Time:

30 minutes (includes rolling out dough (it does NOT need to be chilled) and cutting out shapes)

  • Not So Plain Jane® Sugar Cookie Mix– add an allergen safe fat (i.e. allergen safe butter) and water (vanilla bean is highly suggested but not required).

Premium Brownie Mix

Equipment Needed:

Oven, Spoon, Bowl and Baking Pan

Yields:

Makes 15 standard size brownies per mix.

Prep Time:

7 minutes.

  • No Frownie Brownie® Mix– add neutral tasting oil and water.

Premium Flour Mix

Equipment Needed:

Refer to the recipe you are following 

Yields:

Each box comes with 2 pouches of flour. Each pouch has 3 1/2 cups of flour in it. So combined, you get 7 cups of flour per box.

Prep Time:

Depends on the recipe you are following. 

Premium Frostings

Equipment Needed:

Spoon, Bowl, Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer

Yields:

Each container yields enough frosting for 24 cupcakes or enough for a full 2 layer cake.

Prep Time:

15 minutes (includes taking frosting out of containers and whipping it until light and fluffy)

  • Good AF Chocolate Frosting– add hot water and salt.
  • White Sweetness Frosting– add water.

Our founder has had food allergies her whole life and could go on and on about how she struggled with the cardboard and bland flavored desserts presented to her over the years. The lack of delicious (and we don’t mean tolerable) tasting and right texture/ mouth feel mixes and desserts is what inspired her to start The Pink Bakery.

Nubian is a certified Professional Food Manager and self proclaimed “Sophisticated Foodie” who spent 5 years personally crafting her proprietary recipes – using real food that does not cause any irritation to the body.

We only use premium and natural ingredients sourced from around the world.
